Coach self-concept and personality as a pedagogue

Abstract:

V mé bakalářské práci se zabývám problematikou sebepojetí trenéra jako pedagoga, konkrétně jeho pedagogickou činností, osobností a jeho vnímáním sebe samotného jako pedagoga. Činím tak na základě kvalitativního výzkumu, který jsem prováděla formou rozhovorů s vybranými trenéry. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V teoretické se věnuji pedagogickým aspektům povolání trenéra, jeho osobnosti a pojmu sebepojetí. V empirické analyzuji získaná data z rozhovorů s respondenty a snažím se z nich zjistit, jaká jsou specifika sebepojetí trenéra. V závěru práce shrnuji nejdůležitější zjištění a poukazuji na význam pedagogiky v trenérství.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the coach self-concept as a pedagogue, especially of coach pedagogic aktivity, personality and his perception of himself as a pedagogue. It is based on qualitative research, I conducted on the basis of interviews with selected coaches. The thesis is divided into two parts. In theoretical part I deal with pedagogical aspects of the coach profession, his personality and self-concept. The empirical part analyzes the data obtained from interviews with respondents, and tries to find out what are the specifics of coach self-concept for them. Finally I sum up the most important findings and point at the importance of pedagogy in coaching.
