Financial stability and the company's efficiency from the perspective of modern performance measurement methods

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá finanční stabilitou a výkonností podniku z pohledu moderních metod měření výkonnosti. Finanční stabilita a výkonnost je v dnešní době pro podniky velice důležitá, například z pohledu konkurenceschopnosti. Zjištění o stabilitě a výkonnosti podniku můžeme využít například pro benchmarking mezi konkurenty, dále i pro posouzení, zda je analyzovaný podnik finančně zdraví či nikoliv. Cílem této diplomové práce je zjištění, jak je analyzovaný podnik stabilní, výkonný a finančně zdravý. Boudou použity jak klasické metody, tak moderní, mezi klasické metody budou použity poměrové ukazatele, bankrotní a bonitní modely, mezi moderní metody budou použity například ekonomická přidaná hodnota EVA, vážené průměrné náklady na kapitál WACC. V teoretické části budou vysvětleny jednotlivé metody a postupy, praktická část se bude opírat o tyto teoretické poznatky na analyzovaný podnik. Na závěr po celé analýze napíši doporučení pro analyzovaný podnik a v čem podnik vyniká.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the financial stability and performance of the company from the perspective of modern methods of performance measurement. Financial stability and performance are very important to businesses today, for example, from a competitive perspective. For example, we can use stability and performance findings to benchmark among competitors, as well as to assess whether an enterprise is financially healthy or not. The aim of this thesis is to find out how the analyzed company is stable, efficient and financially healthy. Both classical methods and modern ones will be used, ratio indicators, bankruptcy and creditworthy models will be used, modern economic methods will use EVA, weighted average cost of capital WACC. In the theoretical part, the individual methods and procedures will be explained, the practical part will be based on these theoretical findings on the analyzed company. Finally, after the analysis, I will write the recommendations for the business to be analyzed and what the company does.
