Ideology of autonomous nationalists in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Autonomní nacionalismus je novým fenoménem krajní pravice, který se v České republice objevuje na konci roku 2005. V této práci se budu zabývat ideologií autonomních nacionalistů. Úvodem podniknu krátkou exkurzi do vývoje krajní pravice po Sametové revoluci, přičemţ pro usnadnění orientace v této práci rozdělím vzniklá krajně pravicová hnutí do tří kategorií: registrovaná hnutí, neregistrovaná hnutí a SPR-RSČ. Ačkoli přístup k nacionalismu není jiţ ze své podstaty snadné uchopit z důvodu nezávislosti jednotlivých buněk, pokusím se najít společná témata, která se prolínají napříč všemi skupinami v ČR. V následujících kapitolách se budu věnovat podnětům, které inspirovaly vznik Autonomních nacionalistů a budu se podrobně věnovat jejich ideologii.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the ideology of Autonomous Nationalism as being a new phenomenon in the field of ultra-right politics on the Czech republic since 2005. As for the beginning, I will attempt to provide a clear discussion of the development of ultra-right politics after the Velvet Revolution. All far right politics will be divided in three groups: registered movements, not registered movements and the Republicans of Miroslav Sladek. For the fact that there is a certain level of independence of each group or movement, there can hardly be a general statement on nationalism made. Thus, I will elicit common topics which are the main points of interest of these groups. The following chapters will be devoted to the main impulses to inspire creation of Autonomous Nationalist and I will further discuss their ideology as well.
