Nurses knowledge of updated guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na úroveň znalostí všeobecných sester o kardiopulmonální resuscitaci. Hlavním tématem teoretické části práce je tedy neodkladná první pomoc, především kardiopulmonální resuscitace, její historie, vývoj a nejnovější postupy. Praktická část je zaměřena na průzkum vědomostí týkajících se aktualizovaných guidelines ke kardiopulmonální resuscitaci u všeobecných sester. Průzkum byl uskutečněn prostřednictvím anonymního dotazníku se znaky vědomostního testu. Dotazníkové šetření probíhalo v nejmenované krajské nemocnici na lůžkových odděleních chirurgického a interního typu a na ambulancích. Z výsledků průzkumu vyplynulo, že zúčastněné všeobecné sestry zvládly dotazník vyplnit s průměrnou úspěšností 70 % a nejvíce nedostatků měly v oblasti týkající se problematiky TANR, AED a v oblasti poskytování KPR dětem.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on cardiopulmonary resuscitation knowledge of general nurses. The basic theme of theoretical part is emergency first aid, mainly cardiopulmonary resuscitation, its history, development and its newest guidelines. The practical part is focused on actual guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation knowledge exploration among general nurses. The research was done via anonym questionnaire with marks of knowledge test. The survey took place in regional hospital, especially in ambulant dept. and in inpatient department of surgical and internal ward. The results are shown in graphs with given comments. The main focus of discussion is an evaluation of predetermined goals, evaluation of given exploratory issues and result comparison with other bachelor thesis. Finally the survey shows, that overall answer success of all the involved nurses is about 70 % and conversely the biggest nescience is observed in T-CPR, AED problematic and in problematic related to providing CPR to the children.
