Application of principles of wholesome financial management at the municipal level

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zdravého finančního řízení obcí. Práce obsahuje popis základních a moderních přístupů k hospodaření obcí. Zaměřuje se na vymezení metod sloužících ke zjištění aktuálního finančního stavu obce a následuje aplikace na konkrétní obci. V návaznosti na komparaci s dalšími obcemi je provedeno zhodnocení a navržení možností pro zlepšení situace zkoumané obce s ohledem na její možnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is dealing with issues of wholesome financial management of municipalities. The thesis contains description of basic as well as modern attitudes to municipal management. It focuses on the definition of methods used for determination of the current municipal financial situation. Then it follows with application for a particular municipality. As a follow-up to comparison with other municipalities there is an evaluation and a proposal how to improve the situation of the researched municipality with regard to its possibilities.
