The Use of Time Prepositions in French Commercial and Administrative Correspondence

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis deals with utilization of time prepositions in the French business and administrative correspondence. First chapter is focused on the preposotions as a word class, several terms associated with them, and introduction of the corpus of the letters. Second chapter is focused on the theory of time prepositions. Third and fourth are focused on application of theoretical knowledge about particular prepositions and preposition collocations on the examples from the corpus. Last chapter contains quantitative analysis of the utilization of prepositions of time in the corpus.

Abstract:

Le présent mémoire de licence est consacré ? l'emploi des prépositions temporelles dans la correspondance commerciale et administrative française. Le premier chapitre s'occupe d'une courte introduction des prépositions en tant que la catégorie grammaticale, de certains termes associés aux prépositions et de présentation du corpus. Le deuxi?me chapitre s'oriente vers l'étude théorique des prépositions de temps. Le troisi?me et quatri?me chapitres se concentre ? l'application des connaissances théoriques pour chaque préposition et locution prépositionnelle aux exemples du corpus. Le dernier chapitre contient l'analyse quantitative de l'emploi des prépositions temporelles dans le corpus.
