The role of early care in preventing burnout in families of children with autism spectrum disorder

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá zkoumáním problematiky role poradce rané péče při předcházení syndromu vyhoření u rodin s dětmi s poruchou autistického spektra. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaká je role poradců rané péče při předcházení syndromu vyhoření u rodin s dětmi s poruchou autistického spektra. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny všechny základní pojmy, se kterými autorka dále operuje v praktické části práce. Výzkumné šetření bylo prováděno se 4 rodinami, které absolvovaly službu raná péče ve vybrané organizaci a se 4 poradci rané péče, kteří zajišťují poskytování služby raná péče v téže organizaci. Výsledky práce jsou založeny na provedených polostrukturovaných rozhovorech. Výsledkem práce je zjištění, že samotná služba raná péče svým posláním a nastavením, působí preventivně proti syndromu vyhoření a to i přesto, že se na tuto prevenci cíleně nezaměřuje.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of the role of early care in preventing burnout in families of children with autism spectrum disorder. The goal of this diploma thesis is to find out the role of early care advisers in the present case. In the theoretical chapter, author introduces the basic definitions and concepts which she continues to work in the practical part. The practical part presented the research using semi-structured interviews which was carried out with four families attending the selected early care organization and with four early care advisers of the same organization. In the conclusion of the thesis, the main finding is that the social service of early care, its mission and methodology of work, prevents burnout, although it is not focused on this objective.
