Abstract:

Táto kvalitatívna štúdia je zameraná na rolu citovej väzby vo vzťahu medzi učiteľom hudby a jeho žiakom. Cieľom tejto štúdie je zistiť aký význam adolescenti pripisujú tomuto typu vzťahu v kontexte teórie citovej väzby. Štúdia sa systematicky zameriava na jednotlivé funkcie citovej väzby ako bezpečný prístav či istá zá-kladňa a ilustruje ich možné prejavy v týchto vzťahoch, čo je následne dávané do súvislosti s typom citovej väzby adolescentov. Zároveň, štúdia si dáva za cieľ preskúmať kvalitu tohto vzťahu učiteľ hudby-žiak, ako sa v ňom prejavujú jednotlivé typy attachmentových stratégií adolescentov a či učiteľ hudby môže byť väz-bovou osobou v rámci širšej hierarchie citovej väzby. Desať polo-štrukturovaných rozhovorov bolo ana-lyzovaných pomocou tématickej analýzy dát a diskurzívnej analýzy podľa Dynamic-Maturational Model, ktorý chápe citovú väzbu ako dynamicky sa rozvíjajúcu vo vzťahoch v súlade s dozrievaním mozgu. Výsledky implikujú, že to ako adolescenti vnímajú svoj vzťah k učiteľovi hudby sa odvíja od ich attach-mentovej stratégie, ktorú používajú aj vo vzťahu k rodičom. Taktiež, väčšina respondentov až na jednu výnimku nepovažuje učiteľa hudby za väzbovú osobu. Zistenia a výsledky štúdie sú diskutované v kontexte predchádzajúcich zistení a teoretického rámca.

Abstract:

This qualitative study is focused on the role of attachment in the music teacher-pupil relationship. The aim of this study is to investigate the meaning of this relationship for adolescent musicians in the context of attach-ment theory. The study examines the attachment-related constructs such as sage haven and secure base and illustrate how they manifest in these relationships, which is further put into the context of adolescents´ at-tachment strategies. Concurrently, the study aims to examine the quality of the music teacher-pupil relation-ship - whether pupils use balanced, avoidant, or preoccupied attachment strategy in the relationship and whether a music teacher can be regarded as an attachment figure. Ten semi-structured interviews were ana-lyzed using thematic analysis and discourse analysis based on Dynamic-Maturational Model that conceptu-alizes attachment strategy as dynamically developing in relationships in accordance with brain maturation. The results indicate, that the way how adolescents perceive their relationship toward teacher is influenced by their attachment strategy, the same they use towards their parents. Further, the majority of adolescents don’t consider music teacher as an attachment figure, although one exception appeared. The results are discussed in the context of previous studies and theoretical framework.
