Awareness of clients with diseases of the gallbladder, pancreas and liver in the field of nutrition in surgical wards.

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se věnuji tématu: Informovanost pacientů s chorobou žlučníku, slinivky a jater na chirurgickém oddělení v oblasti výživy. Cílem této práce je zjistit informovanost pacientů, zjistit kde, nebo odkud pacienti nejčastěji čerpají informace o výživě (dietě), zhodnotit zda pacienti rozumí informacím a nakonec také zmapovat orientaci pacientů ve svém dietním režimu. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části jsou obsaženy charakteristiky onemocnění, jejich projevy, následná léčba, možné komplikace a především prevence některých onemocnění. Hlavně se věnuji životosprávě a nejvíce tématu výživy, kde se zabývám dietním systémem a dietami spojenými s onemocněními žlučníku, jater a slinivky. V praktické části vyhodnocuji informace, které jsem získala od klientů s vybranými nemocemi pomocí dotazníku. Výsledky průzkumu zaznamenáváme a porovnávám do tabulek a vyznačuji v grafech. Příloha obsahuje ukázku jídelníčku pro klienty s dietním omezením. Doufáme, že tato práce bude přínosem pro nemocné, kde najdou radu ke svému onemocnění. Ale i pro zdravé, kteří mohou předejít onemocněním.

Abstract:

The thesis is devoted to the topic: Information for patients with gallbladder disease, liver and pancreas in the surgical department of nutrition. The aim of this paper is to inform patients, to determine where, or from patients often collect information about nutrition (diet), to evaluate whether patients understand the information, and finally map the orientation of the patients in their dietary regime. The paper is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of the characteristics of the disease, its symptoms, subsequent treatment, possible complications, and especially the prevention of certain diseases. Main focus of this theses is diet and nutrition. Primary focused on diets and diet system associated with gallbladder disease, liver and pancreas. Practical part analyzes the information received from clients with certain illnesses through survey. The survey results recorded and collated in tables and characterized in charts. This annex contains a sample menu with dietary restrictions. We hope that this work will be beneficial for patients to find recommendations and advices to understand their illness. Healthy people could find this work helpful in prevention of these diseases.
