Abstract:
BRCA1 je nádorový supresorový gen, jehož mutace jsou spojovány s výskytem karcinomů prsu a vaječníků. Produkt genu obsahuje ve své struktuře několik důležitých domén, díky kterým vykonává rozmanité funkce. Mezi nejdůležitější řadíme opravu poškozené DNA. Abstract:
BRCA1 is a tumor suppressor gene whose mutations are associated with breast and ovarian cancers. Gene product contains several important domains in its structure through which protein performs multiple functions. One of the most important function is repairing of damaged DNA.
