Abstract:

Disertační práce se věnuje paleografii mongolských rukopisů 17.–20. století psaných perem z území severního Mongolska (Chalchy) na základě sbírek uložených v České republice. Cílem práce je chronologický popis paleografického vývoje rukopisného mongolského písma na základě změn tahů, podoby písmen, duktu, pravopisu a kodikologických aspektů rukopisů. Teoretická část uvádí do problematiky vývoje mongolské rukopisné knihy z hlediska vnější podoby rukopisů a kodikologie a přináší chronologický přehled paleografického vývoje písma. Analytická část obsahuje chronologicky seřazené ukázky 41 rukopisů s rozborem písma a kodikologických aspektů a komentářem ke kontextu. Samostatná kapitola sleduje vývoj pravopisu terminologie, kterou klasický mongolský literární jazyk převzal společně s písmem ze sogdštiny. Na hlavní text práce věnovaný chronologickému paleografickému rozboru navazují dvě případové studie dvou unikátních rukopisů, které zasluhují zvláštní pozornost jak z hlediska paleografického a jazykovědného, tak i z hlediska historického a z hlediska dějin mongolské literatury (1. didaktická báseň Nádobka nektaru Rasiyan-u qumq-a, 2. rukopis Čtyři svitky Orálních tantrických instrukcí Marpy Překladatele Erkin Marba-yin dörben ebkemel čaγasu-tu-yin ündüsülegsen ündüsün-ü aman-u ubadis).

Abstract:

This doctoral dissertation deals with palaeography of calamus-written Mongolian manuscripts of the 17th to 20th centuries from the region of Northern Mongolia (Khalkha) based on collections preserved in Czech Republic. The main objective is to chronologically describe the palaeographic development of Mongolian handwritten script regarding changes of stroke and letter shapes, ductus, spelling, orthography and codicological aspects of manuscripts. The theoretical part introduces the development of Mongolian manuscript books from the point of view of the external appearance of manuscripts and codicology and chronological survey of palaeographical development of the script. The analytical part contains specimina of 41 manuscripts organized into categories according to the ductus and chronology. Analyses of shapes of script, spelling, codicological aspects and commentary to the context are provided. A special chapter follows the development of spelling of terminology inherited by the Classical literary Mongolian from Sogdian together with the script. The main text of the dissertation is followed by two case studies of two unique manuscripts, which deserve a special attention for their palaeographic, linguistic, as well as historical and literary importance (1. didactic poem Vase of Nectar Rasiyan-u qumq-a, 2. manuscript of Oral Instructions transmitted as Four paper scrolls of the Venerable Marpa Erkin Marba-yin dörben ebkemel čaγasu-tu-yin ündüsülegsen ündüsün-ü aman-u ubadis).
