Habitat affinity of invasive plant species in the Odra river floodplain

Abstract:

Práce má za cíl zmapovat výskyt nepůvodních, zejména invazních druhů rostlin v nivě řeky Odry v CHKO Poodří. Na předem zvolených, náhodně lokalizovaných stanovištích přiřazených k různým sedmi biotopům, byly zapsány fytocenologické snímky na plochách o velikosti 16 m2 a v jejich okolí do vzdálenosti 100 m byly sepsány typy biotopů s jejich procentuálním zastoupením a invazní druhy rostlin hodnocené třístupňovou škálou hojnosti výskytu. V 21 zapsaných snímcích bylo zaznamenáno 11,9 % nepůvodních druhů, z kterých bylo 62,5 % archeofytů s polovinou invazních druhů a 37,5 % neofytů, z nichž bylo invazních 83 %. Celkový počet invazních druhů v okolí snímků byl 2,7krát vyšší než celkový počet invazních druhů ve snímcích. Nejvyššího zastoupení invazních druhů podle pokryvnosti bylo dosaženo v ovsíkových loukách, ovšem podle průměrného počtu invazních druhů na biotop to bylo spolu s tužebníkovými a pcháčovými lady. V datech z okolí snímků je nejvíce invadovaná ruderální vegetace otevřených stanovišť a v rámci lesních biotopů jsou nejvíce invadovány měkké luhy. Mezi ostatními biotopy výrazné rozdíly nejsou. Nepůvodními druhy s nejvyšším počtem obsazených biotopů ve snímcích se staly invazní Cirsium arvense a postinvazní Carduus crispus zatímco v okolních biotopech druhé místo za Cirsium arvense obsadilo Solidago gigantea. Nepodařilo se prokázat vliv výskytu invazních druhů v okolí a heterogenity okolí na zastoupení invazních druhů ve snímcích, možná kvůli malé velikosti datového souboru.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to map the occurrence of alien plants, particularly invasive species of plants in the floodplain of the river Odra in the nature reserve Poodří. The plots were preselected, localized at random and assigned to seven various habitats. The phytosociological plots were made on the areas of 16 m2. In their surroundings up to 100 m, the types of habitats were written down, together with their percentage representation and the invasive species of plants that were assessed by a three-degree scale of abundance. In the 21 relevés there were 11,9 % of alien species. Archaeophytes comprised 62,5 % and one half of them was invasive. Neophytes represented 37,5 % and 83 % of them were invasive. The total number of the invasive species in the surroundings of the relevés was 2,7 times higher than the total number of the invasive species in the relevés themselves. The highest rate of the invasive species according to the cover was recorded on the mesic Arrhenaterum meadows, but according to the average number of the invasive species per habitat this was true for mesic Arrhenaterum meadows together with wet Fillipendula grasslands and wet Cirsium meadows. In the surroundings of the relevés, the ruderal vegetation of the open areas was the most invaded. Within the forest habitats, willow-poplar forests were invaded the most. Among other habitats there were no considerable differences. The invasive Cirsium arvense and post-invasive Carduus crispus were the alien species with the highest number of invaded habitat in the relevés, whereas in the surrounding habitats it was Solidago gigantea that occupied the second place behind Cirsium arvense. The influence of the occurrence of invasive species in the surroundings and of the heterogeneity of the environs on the rate of the invasive species in the relevés was not proved, perhaps because of the small range of the data file.
