Rehabilitation of a patient with agenesis of the corpus callosum: case report

Abstract:

The agenesis of the body is a rare congenital malformation, due to the absence of the corpus callosum, this is a set of nerve bundles that provides for communication between the two cerebral hemispheres, right and left hemisphere. Results are reported from a significant therapeutic approach, with suitable rehabilitation techniques. The facts demonstrate the importance of the role of the physiotherapist in a team, in order to achieve good results with a clear reduction in time.

Abstract:

L'agenesia del corpo calloso ? una malformazione congenita rara, caratterizzata dall'assenza del corpo calloso, questo ? un insieme di fasci nervoso che mettono in comunicazione i due emisferi cerebrali, emisfero destro e sinistro. Si riportano I risultati ottenuti da un approccio terapeutico significativo, con tecniche riabilitative idonee. I risultati dimostrano l'importanza del ruolo del fisioterapista all'interno di un'equipe, per poter raggiungere buoni risultati con una netta riduzione dei tempi.
