Business logistics: Optimalization of workplace in Toors CZ, l.t.d company

Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce je, jak již název napovídá, optimalizace daného pracoviště firmy Toors CZ, s.r.o. Zmíněná firma žádá vypracování následujícího: Zjistit, je-li možné řešit výrobní proces na pracovišti křídel pomocí linky a navrhnout konkrétní výrobní postup s porovnáním stávajícího a budoucího stavu. Práce má charakter pilotní studie. Její výsledky určí, bude-li mít význam zadat zpracování konkrétního technologického řešení odborné firmě.Teoretická část práce se zabývá charakterizací pojmu logistika, vysvětlením základních principů, na kterých obor stojí a poté se zaměřuje přímo na výrobní logistiku a specifikaci její problematiky. V praktické části jsou analyzovány výrobní (a s nimi související) procesy na zájmovém pracovišti. Je provedena pracovní studie a na základě získaných údajů navrženo možné efektivnější řešení výrobního procesu. V závěru je porovnáván současný stav s navrhovaným a dochází k shrnutí a charakterizování podmínek, za kterých je možné navrhovaného řešení dosáhnout. Tyto podmínky obsahují i soubor prozatím neřešených otázek, kterými se firma bude muset zabývat v hlavní studii, rozhodne-li se pro realizaci řešení výroby na pracovišti pomocí linky.

Abstract:

The topic of this diploma thesis is, as the title suggests, the optimization of the workplace belonging to the Toors CZ, l.t.d company. The company in question asks for the following: To determine if it is possible to handle the production process at the wings department using an assembly line and devise a concrete production plan including a comparison of the current and the future state of the department. This work is in principle a pilot study, whose outcomes will determine whether or not will assigning a concrete technological solution of this problem to a specialized company have a meaning. The theoretical part of this work concerns itself with the characterization of the term logistics, it introduces basic principles this field is based upon, and then it focuses directly on the production logistics and the specification of its problems. In the practical part of this work production processes (and processes connected to these) at the workplace in question are analyzed. An operational study is created and a possible, more effective solution to the production process is devised based on the data provided by the study. At the end of this work, the current and the suggested states are compared and conditions under which the suggested solution can be reached are summarized and characterized. These conditions include a set of unsolved questions which the company will have to deal with during the main study in case they decide to realize the production at the workplace using an assembly line.
