Tato práce analyzuje knihu 'Neuromancer' z roku 1984, jejímž autorem je William Gibson. Analytická část této práce se zaměřuje na zobrazení odhadů o blízké budoucnosti v novele 'Neuromancer', a to konkrétně v případech ‚wetware‘, neboli elektronických implantátů, dohledu na obyvatelstvo a umělé inteligence. Abstract:
The present thesis analyses the book 'Neuromancer' from the year 1984 written by William Gibson. The analysis in this thesis focuses on how the predictions about the near future were portrayed in 'Neuromancer' particularly in the case of ‘wetware’ (electronic implants), surveillance, and artificial intelligence.
