Organisation Structure as an Instrument of Insurance Company

Abstract:

Diploma´s thesis studies of the organizational structure of insurance companies, aligning its development trends and comparing the organizational structures of individual insurance (Allianz SP, spa, AEGON ŽP, spa, AXA, spa) companies in Slovakia. The business activities of insurance companies is the same, but their organizational structure, it is not identical. Organizational structures reflect the way of organizing resources, processes and activities with in the organization and are a key aspect of business entities in the efficient achievement of their strategic goals. The first chapter deals with the theoretical basis of organizational management, basic headings organizational structures and also the principle is given to the creation of organizational structure. Organization together with the organizational structure are the second managerial function and are very careful examination and study area management. The second chapter deals with the characteristics of ING Life Insurance Company, its basic organizational structure and formation of the organizational structure of the company. ING Life Insurance Company, is described as a multinational company operating in different local conditions in different States. The organization carries out its activities through its organizational units in accordance with the internal regulations, which are headquarters and agencies, or other organizational unit of which it shall lay down internal rules of the organization. The third chapter offers suggestions for optimal solution and compares the organizational structures of selected insurance companies. From a certain perspective, the organizational structure of each selected insurance specific. This is even more true for insurance companies that are in the organizational structure differ greatly not only from other businesses in the economy, but often with each other.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá štúdiom organizačnej štruktúry poisťovne, zosúladením jej vývojových trendov a porovnaním organizačných štruktúr jednotlivých poisťovní (Allianz SP, a.s., AEGON ŽP, a.s., AXA, a.s.) v rámci Slovenska. Predmet činnosti poisťovne je ten istý, ale ich organizačná štruktúra, nie je identická. Organizačné štruktúry vyjadrujú spôsob organizovania zdrojov, procesov a činností vo vnútri organizácie a sú kľúčovým aspektom podnikateľských subjektov pri efektívnom dosahovaní ich strategických cieľov. Prvá kapitola sa venuje teoretickým východiskám organizačného manažmentu, základného členenia organizačných štruktúr, a tak isto sa venuje princípom tvorby organizačnej štruktúry. Organizovanie spolu s organizačnou štruktúrou tvoria druhú manažérsku funkciu a sú veľmi starostlivo skúmanou a študovanou oblasťou manažmentu. Druhá kapitola sa venuje charakteristike spoločnosti ING Životná poisťovňa, a.s. jej základnou organizačnou štruktúrou a tvorbou organizačnej štruktúry danej spoločnosti. ING Životná poisťovňa, a.s. je popísaná ako nadnárodná spoločnosť, ktorá pôsobí v odlišných miestnych podmienkach rôznych štátov. Organizácia vykonáva svoju činnosť prostredníctvom svojich organizačných jednotiek v súlade s vnútornými predpismi, ktorými sú ústredie a agentúry, prípadne iné organizačné jednotky, o ktorých to ustanovia vnútorné predpisy organizácie. Tretia kapitola prináša návrhy na optimálne riešenie a porovnáva organizačné štruktúry vybraných poisťovní. Z určitého hľadiska je organizačná štruktúra každej vybranej poisťovne špecifická. O to viac to platí pre poisťovne, ktoré sa v organizačnej štruktúre výrazne líšia nielen od iných podnikateľských subjektov v ekonomike, ale často aj medzi sebou navzájom.
