The influence of team leadership style on employee motivation for work performance and its impact on workplace relationships

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá vliv stylu vedení týmu na motivaci zaměstnanců a vztahy na pracovištu ve společnosti Škoda Auto a.s. Cílem je analyzovat tyto vlivy na oddělení GKM/5 prostřednictví teoretického a empirického zkoumání. Teoretická část se věnuje rozdílu mezi vedením a řízením lidí, stylům vedení, motivaci, vztahům na pracovišti a firemní kultuře. Empirická část identifikuje stávající styl vedení a jeho dopady na motivaci a vztahy na pracovišti. Závěr práce navrhuje opatření pro optimalizaci stylu řízení. Veškeré cíle stanovené v úvodu této práce byly dosaženy.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines the impact of team leadership style on employee motivation and workplace reationships at Skoda Auto a.s. The goal is to analyze these influences within the GKM/5 department through theotrtical and empirical research. The theoretical part addresses the distinction between leadership and management. Describes leadership styles, motivation, workplace relationships and company culture. The empirical section identifies the current leadership style and its effects on motivation and workplace relationships. The conclusion suggests measures for optimizing the leadership style. All objectives outlined in the introduction of this thesis have been achieved.
