Study of properties of Mo-doped Bi\dindex{2}Se\dindex{3}

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá termoelektrickými vlastnostmi Bi2Se3. V první části je zaměřena na rešerši již zkoumaných a publikovaných výsledků Bi2Se3 dopovaného přechodnými kovy. Teoretická část je věnována základní struktuře a vlastnostem Bi2Se3. Následuje přehled týkající se termoelektrických jevů. Experimentální část je věnována přípravě vzorku Bi2Se3 dopovaného molybdenem o složení MoxBi2Se3 (x = 0; 0,0015; 0,0035; 0,005; 0,01; 0,02; 0,03). Vzorky byly charakterizovány měřením teplotních závislostí transportních parametrů, jako je Seebeckův koeficient, Hallův koeficient a měrná elektrická vodivost v rozmezí teplot 100 ? 475K. Naměřená data jsou porovnána a diskutována v kapitole 3.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the thermoelectric properties of Bi2Se3. In the first part is focused on the research of previously investigated and published results of transition metal doped Bi2Se3. The theoretical part is devoted to the basic structure and properties of Bi2Se3. The following is an overview of thermoelectric phenomena. The experimental part is devoted to the preparation of a sample of Bi2Se3 doped with molybdenum of composition MoxBi2Se3 (x = 0; 0,0015; 0,0035 0,005; 0,01; 0,02; 0,03). Samples were characterized by measuring temperature dependencies of transport parameters such as the Seebeck coefficient, Hall coefficient and specific electrical conductivity in the temperature range 100 - 475K. The measured data is compared and discussed in the chapter 3
