Unemployment and its progress before and after "turning point" - year 2008 in region Louny

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem nezaměstnanosti s územním dopadem na okres Louny. V teoretické části popisuje jednotlivé typy nezaměstnanosti a možné dopady na osobnost člověka. Odhaluje nástroje vedoucí k jejímu zmírnění či odstranění. Vyzdvihuje aktivní politiku zaměstnanosti a poradenskou činnost úřadů práce, jako jednu z účinných forem v boji proti nezaměstnanosti. V praktické části se plně věnuje okresu Louny a vývoji nezaměstnanosti, a to jak v období příznivého hospodářského růstu, tak i v období hospodářské krize. Metodou analýzy a komparace porovnává základní i strukturální ukazatele nezaměstnanosti v jednotlivých letech a vysvětluje jejich vývoj. Provádí zásadní hodnocení vlivu hospodářské krize na nezaměstnanost a vývoj zaměstnanosti u významných podniků v okrese Louny. Dokazuje účinnost zásahu státu vedoucích ke zmírnění jejich dopadu, čímž potvrzuje stanovenou hypotézu a naplňuje cíl práce. Vyzdvihuje však nutnost včasné realizace těchto zásahů a nastiňuje další možná řešení podpory z Evropské unie.

Abstract:

Thesis deals with the development of unemployment with territorial impact on Louny district. The theoretical part describes the different types of unemployment and the possible effects on humans. Baring tools to mitigate or eliminate. It highlights the active employment policy and consulting offices work as one of the active form in the fight against unemployment. The practical part is fully dedicated to the County Louny and evolution of unemployment, as in the period of favourable economic growth, and in the period of economic crisis. The method of analysis and comparison compares basic and structural unemployment indicators in each year and explains their development. Performs a fundamental assessment of the impact of the crisis on unemployment and employment trends for major enterprises in the Louny. Demonstrates the effectiveness of interventions to State mitigation of its impact, thus confirming the hypothesis and fulfils the objective fixed work. It highlights the need for timely implementation of these, however, interventions and outlines other possible solutions in support of the European Union.
