Optimization of business team management in a particular company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je věnována vedení obchodního týmu ve vybraném podniku. Vlastně provedené šetření vychází z analýzy aktuálního stavu vedení obchodního týmu, odhalení úzkých míst a následné tvorbě doporučení na jejich odstranění. Cílem práce je návrh optimalizace vedení obchodního týmu v Beer & Burger s. r. o. a také posouzení teoretických základů optimalizace obchodního týmu v této společnosti, včetně podstaty a role systému vedení zaměstnanců. Práce je založena na analýze interní dokumentace a provedení řízených rozhovorů. V praktické části práce byla pozornost zaměřena na provedení analýzy řízení obchodního týmu v podniku Beer & Burger s.r.o. Jedná se o podnik působící ve sféře veřejného stravování. V praktické části bakalářské práce se zaměřilo na zjištění aktuálního stavu a odhalení úzkých míst. Šetření poukázalo na následující problematické oblasti v řízení obchodního týmu: silný vliv pandemii a vládních opatření na hospodaření podniku, systém vzdělání obchodníků v dané firmě nemá jasný strategický směr a to, že porady majitele s daným týmem neprobíhají pravidelně, ale ad-hoc. Následně na základě provedené analýzy a rovněž i se zohledněním teoretické části bakalářské práce byla vytvořena následující doporučení pro zkoumaný podnik: zavedení strategického přístupu v řízení znalostí, zavést pravidelné porady a provádět pravidelné zaškolení v oblasti e-commerce. Za hlavní výstup dané bakalářské práce je možné považovat právě tvorbu doporučení pro zkoumaný podnik, včetně zamýšlení se nad možnými dopady jejich realizace. Výsledky, ke kterým se dospělo v rámci provedeného šetření, jsou probrána s managementem podniku.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the management of a business team in a selected company. The survey itself is based on an analysis of the current state of the sales team management, the identification of bottlenecks and the subsequent creation of recommendations for their elimination. The aim of the work is proposal for the optimization of the business team management in Beer & Burger s. r. o. as well as an assessment of the theoretical foundations of the business team optimization in this company, including the nature and role of the employee management system. The work is based on the analysis of internal documentation and conducted controlled interviews. In the practical part of the work, attention was focused on the analysis of business team management in the company Beer & Burger s.r.o. It is a company operating in the field of public catering. The practical part of the bachelor thesis focused on finding out the current state and revealing bottlenecks. The survey highlighted the following problem areas in business team management: the strong impact of pandemics and government measures on business management, the system of education of salesmen in the company does not have a clear strategic direction and the fact that the owner's meetings with the team do not take place regularly but ad-hoc. Subsequently, based on the analysis and also taking into account the theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis, the following recommendations were made for the researched company: introduction of a strategic approach to knowledge management, introduce regular meetings and conduct regular training in e-commerce. The main output of the bachelor's thesis can be considered the creation of recommendations for the researched company, including thinking about the possible impacts of implementation. The results obtained in the research are discussed with the company's management.
