Vegetation characteristics of the geographically distinct floral elements of the Zlín region

Abstract:

Na území Zlínska, situovaného na východní Moravě a největší částí spadajícího do fytochorionů 79. Zlínské vrchy a 81. Hostýnské vrchy, jsem se zabýval druhy rostlin, jejichž rozšíření v regionu je zřetelně nerovnoměrné. Celkem jsem vybral 21 taxonů, které jsem na základě fytogeografických souvislostí rozdělil do čtyř skupin. V první skupině jsou druhy teplomilné, které se na Zlínsko šířily ze západu a hlouběji do území pronikají údolími některých vodních toků. Druhou skupinou jsou druhy karpatské, dosahující na Zlínsku západní hranice svého rozšíření. Třetí skupinu tvoří druhy typické pro hercynskou oblast republiky, přičemž na východní Moravě je patrné jejich vyznívání. Do poslední skupiny spadají druhy, jejichž výskyt na Zlínsku je víceméně izolovaný. Na lokalitách vybraných taxonů jsem zapsal 42 fytocenologických snímků, které byly automaticky klasifikovány pomocí expertního systému. Na základě získaného fytocenologického materiálu jsem charakterizoval vegetaci, v níž se vybrané druhy na Zlínsku vyskytují, a tento výskyt zasadil do širšího fytogeografického a floristického kontextu. V závěru práce získané poznatky shrnuji v syntetické kapitole popisující tři oblasti Zlínska, vymezené na základě přítomnosti fytogeograficky významných druhů.

Abstract:

In the Zlín region which is situated in eastern Moravia, I studied plant species whose distribution in the region is clearly non&hyp;uniform. I selected 21 species which I divided into four groups according to phytogeographic context. The first group contains thermofilous species which radiated from west and their appearance further inside the Zlín region was faciliated by certain valleys. The second group consists of Carpathian species that reach their distribution limit here. The third group contains species common in the Hercynian region but rather rare in Moravia. Tha last group consists of species whose appearance in the Zlín region is isolated from their continuous distribution. In total, 42 phytosociological relevés were recorded and automatically classified by an expert system for vegetation classification. The recorded data served as a base for characterising the vegetation the selected species grow in. The occurence of the studied species was put in broader phytogeographical and floristic context. In the end of the thesis there is a synthetic chapter describing three parts of the Zlín region which were delimitated according to distribution of the phytogeographically distinct species.
