•Possibilities of using phenological observations in applied and landscape ecology

Abstract:

Tato disertační práce analyzuje údaje z fenologických pozorování Českého hydrometeorologického ústavu a tyto poznatky dále aplikuje v oboru aplikované a krajinné ekologie. V práci jsou analyzována data pro období 1931–2012. Práce je zaměřena především na analýzu fenologie polních plodin v souvislosti s řešeným projektem na aktualizaci hodnoty ochranného vlivu vegetace (vymezení termínů vybraných fenologických fází pro výrobní oblasti, výpočet ochranného vlivu vegetace s využitím fenologických dat). Kromě zmíněných polních plodin jsou v práci analyzovány i několik druhů lesních rostlin (ve vztahu k monitoringu pylových alergenů, environmentální bezpečnosti a bioklimatologii). Fenologická data vykazují velkou variabilitu a zobecnění výsledků není v některých případech vhodné. V práci byla fenologická data podrobena trendové a regresní analýze.

Abstract:

This dissertation thesis analysis data from phenological observation of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute and further applies this knowledge to the field of applied and landscape ecology. This work deals with data from 1931 to 2012. The focus of the text is mainly on the analysis of phenology of field crops in connection with the project to update the value of the protective effect of vegetation (definition of terms of selected phenological phases for production areas, calculation of the protective effect of vegetation using phenological data). In addition to the mentioned field crops, severel species of forest plants are analyzed in this work (in relation to the monitoring of pollen allergens, environmental security and bioclimatology). Phenological data show great variability and generalization of results is not appropriate in some cases. In this work, phenological data were subjected to trend and regression analysis.
