Abstract Toll-like receptors are a part of innate immunity found in animals as well as in humans. They recognise danger associated patterns, mainly bacterial and viral components. Abstrakt Toll-like receptory jsou součástí nespecifické imunity nacházející se u živočichů i člověka. Rozpoznávají vzory asociované s nebezpečím, zejména komponenty bakterií a virů. Jejich signální dráhy vedou především k transkripčním faktorům NFκB a INF. Ve výsledku stimulují expresi jak pro- tak i protizánětlivých genů.
