Abstract:

ABSTRAKT Cíl: cílem bakalářské práce je reflexe problematiky kochleární implantace u dětí. Bakalářská práce tak poskytuje přehled o metodách vyšetření sluchu u dětí. Popisuje historický vývoj kochleárních implantátů, jeho stavbu a funkci. Nedílnou součástí práce je postihnutí role sestry v procesu kochleární implantace u dětí. Sestra se zde uplatňuje zejména jako edukátorka, advokátka a poskytovatelka ošetřovatelské péče. Poskytuje psychickou oporu rodičům a plánovitě uspokojuje základní potřeby dítěte. Bakalářská práce také nahlíží na problematiku kochleární implantace po stránce etické a věnuje se přednostem a omezením kochleární implantace u dětí. Závěr: kochleární implantace představuje jednu z možností intervence v případě těžké sluchové vady. Kochleární implantát jako takový hluchotu neléčí, ale dětem se sluchovým postižením slouží jako kompenzace jejich sluchové vady. Implantované dítě a jeho rodinu čeká období plné nadějí i obav, úspěchů i zklamání a hlavně dlouhodobá každodenní rehabilitace. Přínosy kochleárního implantátu je možné u dětí identifikovat v oblastech sluchu, řeči, komunikace, vzdělávání a oblasti sociální .Kochleární implantát pomáhá implantovaným dětem při jejich lepší integraci do společnosti slyšících. Sestra v procesu kochleární implantace sehrává důležitou úlohu. Provází sluchově postižené dítě a jeho rodiče od zjištění sluchové vady, přes různá vyšetření, stanovení diagnózy po fázi rozhodování se o možnosti kochleárního implantátu až po vlastní implantaci a je i přítomna v procesu dlouhodobé rehabilitace. Abstract:

ABSTRACT Goal: The goal of the Bachelor?s Thesis is to consider the issue of cochlear implants in children. The Bachelor?s Thesis thus makes a survey of hearing test methods in children. It describes the history and development of cochlear implants, their construction and functions. It also provides a comprehensive picture of a nurse?s role in the cochlear implant process in children. The nurse here plays a role of an educator, advocate and provider of nursing care. The nurse offers parents psychological support and systematically cares for the basic child?s needs. Finally, the thesis deals with the issue of cochlear implants from the ethical point of view and discusses the advantages and drawbacks of cochlear implants in children. Conclusion: The cochlear implant process is a possible type of intervention in case of severe hearing impediments. A cochlear implant as such does not cure dysacousia but helps children with hearing impairment to compensate for their handicaps. Children with implants and their families must face periods of hope and distress, success and disappointment and mainly long-term daily rehabilitation. The benefits of a cochlear implant in children may be seen in the area of hearing, speech, communication, education as well as there is a social aspect. The cochlear implant helps children with the implant to become better integrated into the non-deaf society. Nurses have an important role in the cochlear implant process. They accompany the impaired children and their families from the start when the hearing impediment is found, via various examinations, making a diagnosis and the decision-making phase on a possible cochlear implant all the way to the implant process itself.
