Abstract:

Předkládaná práce Evropská bezpečnostní a obranná politika a vojenské operace na podporu míru Evropské unie si klade za cíl analyzovat problematiku realizace Evropské bezpečnostní a obranné politiky, coby integrální součásti Společné zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiky Evropské unie. Realizací jsou pro potřeby práce míněny konkrétní mírové vojenské mise EU, které práce chápe jako jeden z určujících a empiricky testovatelných indikátorů. Cílem práce je verifikovat hlavní tezi: Evropská unie při realizaci současné Evropské bezpečnostní a obranné politiky dosáhla svého maxima v podobě mírových misí Evropské unie. Ty jsou v současnosti nejvyšším společným jmenovatalem jak spolupráce členských států EU, tak spolupráce EU a NATO a existujících reálných schopností.

Abstract:

Presented thesis "European Security and Defence Policy and European Union military peace support operations" aims to analyse the implementation of the European Security and Defence Policy project which is the integral part of the Common Foreign and Security Policy. In this case, particular military peace support operations are treated as the key valid a almost arguable implemantation criteria. The main hypothesis assumes that "The realization of the contemporary European Security and Defence Policy by European Union reached its maximum level by EU peace missions. These operations present highest common denominator of both the cooperation of the EU member states and the cooperation between EU and NATO as well as existing capabilities".
