Assessment and Proposal Changes of the Transport Organization at the Center of City Pardubice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá posouzením a návrhem změn organizace dopravy v centru města Pardubic především s ohledem na integraci cyklistické dopravy. Konkrétní řešené území se nachází na náměstí Republiky a Smetanově náměstí. První kapitola se zabývá analýzou současného stavu organizace dopravy včetně dopravních průzkumů v řešené oblasti. Ve druhé kapitole jsou provedeny vlastní návrhy změn organizace dopravy v řešeném území. Je zde provedeno řešení jak z hlediska dopravních vztahů na celém území města (simulační model města), tak podrobné řešení vlastního území (návrhy vyhrazených jízdních pruhů pro cyklisty, atd.). Ve třetí kapitole jsou návrhy možného řešení organizace dopravy vyhodnoceny.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the examination and design changes of transport organization in the centre of city Pardubice, especially on the integration of bicycle transport. Particular areas are located at the Náměstí republiky square and Smetanovo náměstí square. The first chapter deals with the analysis of current state of transport organization including transport researches in the areas. The second chapter consists of own proposals of transport organization in the same area. There are created solutions in transport-relations way on the whole area of the city (simulation model of the city) and also detailed solution of own location (proposals dedicated to bicycle traffic lines etc.). The third chapter is composed of evaluation of possible solutions.
