Floristic survey of the hill Šumná and their adjacent areas

Abstract:

V roce 2010-2011 byl na návrší Šumná u Klášterce nad Ohří proveden floristický průzkum. Celkem bylo založeno 33 snímků. Bylo nalezeno 262 taxonů cévnatých rostlin, z toho 11 druhů ohrožených, které jsou zahrnuty do Červeného seznamu v kategoriích C3, C4 a C4a. Historicky prodělalo území tři etapy zalesnění. Původní přirozené zalesnění zde bylo do 15. století, než byl vystavěn hrad Šumburk. Následující necelá dvě staletí byla pravděpodobně na celém návrší strategická holina, a přibližně od poloviny 17. zde opět nastupuje les. Na lokalitě jsou pozůstatky původních lesních druhů. Některé z nich jsou i indikátory původních společenstev svazů: Carpinion, Fagion, Genisto germanicae-Quercetum a Tilio-Aceroin, které byly určeny na základě lesnické typologie. Dnes jsou zde smrkové, borové a modřínové kultury, které jsou v současnosti nahrazovány původními listnatými druhy.

Abstract:

The thesis presents the outcomes of floristic research conducted on the hill Šumná nearby the town Klášterec nad Ohří in 2010-2011. 33 locations in total were set to be monitored and there were found 262 taxa of vascular plants. 11 species of this number are protected and included in the IUCN Red List in categories C3, C4 and C4a. This area went through the three stages of afforestation in the past. The original natural forestation lasted until the 15th century (the first stage), when the castle Šumburk was built. During the next two centuries, the hill was probably bare for strategic reasons (the second stage) and the re-forestation began in the middle of the 17th century again (the third stage). Till now, this area includes the original forest species as well as the taxa of broadleaf thermophilic grass that are remains of the treeless-stage. The original spruce, pine and larch cultures are today substituted for broad-leaved species that naturally occur here. Phytosociologically, this area falls into four unions (alliancia): Carpinion, Fagion, Genisto germanicae-Quercetum and Tilio-Acerion that were set according to the Forest-typology. Floristically, the Šumná-area is an interesting and attention deserving area, especially due to the richness and variety of species and biotopes diversity.
