Protected urban reservation and its significance for tourism

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem diplomové práce je městská památková rezervace a její využití pro cestovní ruch. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jaké problémy a příležitosti s sebou přináší rozvoj cestovního ruchu pro městskou památkovou rezervaci v Kroměříži. Teoretická část diplomové práce zahrnuje celkem tři kapitoly, zaměřené na kulturní cestovní ruch, legislativní úpravu a v neposlední řadě obsahuje orgány a organizace působící v oblasti památkové péče. Analytická část diplomové práce se podrobněji zabývá městskou památkovou rezervací v Kroměříži a skládá se celkem ze sedmi kapitol. Čtvrtá kapitola analytické části diplomové práce obsahuje základní informace o městě Kroměříži a jeho historii a také se následně zabývá prohlášením města za městskou památkovou rezervaci. Pátá kapitola je věnována významným atraktivitám města Kroměříže z hlediska cestovního ruchu a zahrnuje i statistiky návštěvnosti památkovýc h objektů. Součástí šesté kapitoly jsou subjekty působící a zabývající se cestovním ruchem v Kroměříži. Sedmá kapitola zahrnuje instituce zabývající se památkovou péčí ve městě. Osmá kapitola diplomové práce se zabývá Programem regenerace městských památkových rezervace a městských památkových zón. Devátá kapitola pojednává o realizovaném projektu Národního centra zahradní kultury. Desátá kapitola obsahuje řízené rozhovory s odborníky jak z oblasti cestovního ruchu, tak i z oblasti památkové péče. Poslední návrhová část diplomové práce se zaobírá problémy v památkové rezervaci v Kroměříži. Na základě zjištěných informací jsem dospěla k závěru, že nejvýznamnějšími atributy cestovního ruchu v Kroměříži, jsou její kulturně historické památky a i přes zjištěné vyskytující se problémy v památkové rezervaci je Kroměříž atraktivní destinací, která má velký potenciál pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu.

Abstract:

The main topic of this Master´thesis is Protected Urban Reservation and Its Significance For Tourism. The aim of this thesis is to identify the challenges and opportunities brings tourism development for urban conservation in Kroměřiž. The theoretical part of the thesis contains three chapters focusing on cultural tourism, legislative regulations and includes the institutions and organizations which are active in conservation. The Analytical part of the thesis describes The Urban Conservation Area Kroměříž and consists of seven chapters. The fourth chapter of the analytical part of the thesis provides basic informations about the city and its history of Kroměříž and also deals about the declaration of an urban conservation area. The fifth chapter is devoted to a major city attractions of Kroměříž in terms of tourism and includes traffic statistics objects. The sixth chapter are actors and engaged in tourism in Kromeriz. The seventh chapter includes establishments engaged in conservation care of city. The eighth chapter deals with the regeneration program of Urban Conservation and Urban Conservation Areas.The ninth chapter provides informations on the realized project of the National Center of Garden culture in Kromeříž. The tenth chapter contains a structured interviews with experts in the field of tourism and conservation. The last forms part of the thesis desribes the occuring in the Conservation area. Forms part includes suggestions and recommendations that would lead to improvement in the Urban Cinservation in Kroměříž. Based on the information I have come to the concluded that the most important attributes of Tourism in Kromeriz its cultural and historical monuments,despite identified problems to the Conservation Kroměříž is an attractive destination which has great potential for tourism development.
