The Influence of Japanese Manga on American Comic Books
Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce je prokázat vliv japonských mang na americké komiksy a demonstrovat, jakým způsobem si tyto komiksy japonský styl osvojují. Práce bude nejen zkoumat kresbu amerických komiksů, nýbrž především jejich ztrukturu (náměty, dějiště, postavy, symboly atd.), které budou srovnávány s japonskou mangou.
Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis will be to prove the influence of Japanese manga on American comics. It will analyze structure and art of American comics and their similarities with Japanese manga. The structure would consist of storyline, setting of the story, main characters and symbols which will be compared to manga.
