Abstract:
Diplomová práce ?Coppolova cesta ke Kmotrovi? pojednává o situaci, která předcházela natáčení, o tehdejším stavu filmového studia Paramount a o náročných přípravách produkce, která v mnohém ovlivnila finální pojetí filmu. Ve druhé části je analýza tématu a příběhu Michaela Corleoneho, která polemizuje s mýty a skutečností opravdové americké mafie.
Abstract:
The graduation theses ?Coppola?s approach to the Godfather? deals with the situation before the actual production of the film, tells us about conditions the film studio Paramount was in and about the difficult pre-production process, that in many aspects influenced the final feature presentation.
