The topic of the thesis is the J. S. Bachs cantata lyrics from the translators view with the focus on translation fom German to Czech. Tématem práce je text kantáty Johanna Sebastiana Bacha "Aus der Tiefen rufe ich, Herr, zu dir" (BWV 131). Cílem bylo vytvořit z německého originálu jak český překlad prózový, tak překlad jako součást notového textu.
