Burnout among social workers of the charity

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou syndromu vyhoření a to konkrétně výskytem vyhoření u sociálních pracovníků služeb charity. Teoretická část práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol. První kapitola obsahuje ucelený přehled základních poznatků o samotném syndromu vyhoření, o jeho vývoji, symptomech, projevech, příčinách a důsledcích. Součástí teoretické části je prevence a četnost výskytu syndromu vyhoření ve vztahu k profesi sociálního pracovníka. Empirickou část tvoří kvantitativní výzkumná metoda. Forma sběru dat výzkumného šetření je dotazník. Cílem výzkumného šetření je zjistit v jaké míře u sociálních pracovníků v oblasti charity lze zaznamenat syndrom vyhoření a zda existují rozdílné hodnoty míry syndromu vyhoření v závislosti na zvolených faktorech, které jsou: délka praxe a cílová skupina se kterou pracovníci praktikují. Tato část přináší vyhodnocení stanovených výzkumných otázek. Výsledky jsou podrobně popsány v závěru práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the burn out syndrome. Social workers working for various charities were used as a sample for the research. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter is a summary of the burn out syndrome – it describes its development, symptoms, manifestations, causes and consequences. The burn out syndrome prevention and its frequency is also discussed in the theoretical part of this thesis. The second major part of this thesis is empirical. It is based on a quantitative research and a questionnaire was used as an appropriate method of collecting the data needed for the research. The major aim of the research is to find out if the burn out syndrome appears as regards the charity social workers. If so, then the research focused on the frequency of the syndrome in relation to the following factors: the length of experience and the target group the workers train with. This part is also the assessment of the research. A detailed description of the research and its results is attached at the end of the thesis.
