Cílem diplomové práce je zkoumání a analýza zahraničního zadlužení zemí G8 na počátku 3. tisíciletí. Zkoumaný je dluh na úrovni jednotlivých sektorů ekonomiky a podle jednotlivých dluhových instrumentů. Tyto dluhové instrumenty jsou podrobně popsány spolu s jednotlivými faktory, které tyto instrumenty ovlivňují. The object of this thesis is the analysis of the external debt of countries which are members of the G-8. The external debt is researched through individual sectors of economy. Also there are described debt instruments and all the factors which can influence the external debt.
