Zkoumání Antisemitismu v Literatuře od Agathy Christie

Exploring Anti-Semitism in Agatha Christie's Literature
Abstract:
In this thesis, I examined anti-semitism in early twentieth-century British detective fiction, with emphasis on the works of Agatha Christie. I compared the representation of Jews in her fiction, comparing this with contemporaneous attitudes, as well as the works of other writers such as Arthur Conan Doyle, Dorothy L Sayers and John Buchan.
Abstract:
V této práci se zabývám zkoumáním antisemitismu v britské detektivní literatuře na začátku dvacátého století s důrazem na díla Agathy Christie. Porovnávám zobrazení židovské menšiny v její fikci s dobovými postoji a s díly od dalších autorů jako jsou například Arthur Conan Doyle, Dorothy L Sayers a John Buchan.
