Protein-protein interactions of SMC5-6 complex subunits
Abstract:
The Smc5-Smc6 protein dimer creates with subcomplex Nse1-Nse3-Nse4 the Smc5/6 (Structure Maintenance of Chromosome) complex, which is involved in DNA damage repair and replication forks stabilisation. Protein-protein interactions inside of the subcomplex Nse1-Nse3-Nse4 have been described before, but details about protein-protein interactions between protein Nse3 and Smc6 are not known yet. Dimer Smc5-Smc6 spolu se subkomplexem Nse1-Nse3-Nse4 vytvaří Smc 5/6 (Structure Maintenance of Chromosome) komplex, který se podílí na opravě poškozené DNA a na stabilizování replikačních vidliček. Proteinové interakce v rámci Nse1-Nse3-Nse4 byly popsány, avšak detaily o interakci proteinu Nse3 s proteinem Smc6 nejsou známy.
