Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této práce je posoudit potřeby a možnosti dospělých osob s Aspergerovým syndromem a jejich rodin, v souvislosti s možností jejich uplatnění na trhu práce a zajištění větší samostatnosti. Porozumění těmto potřebám může pomoci v určení druhu služeb, které ve vztahu k dospělým osobám s AS chybí a je proto potřeba se jimi zabývat. V první části práce jsou obecně shrnuty možnostmi podpory zaměstnávání osob s postižením, dále je popsán Aspergerův syndrom, jeho objevení, základní příznaky a důvody vzniku. Je zde také rámcově definován prostor pro sociální práci s uvedenou cílovou skupinou a přiloženy dostupné statistiky, související s touto problematikou. Druhá část práce se věnuje vlastnímu výzkumu, zaměřenému na zjištění konkrétních potřeb, nepřekročitelných omezení, ale i schopností a možností klientů s Aspergerovým syndromem. Jsou zde popsána teoretická východiska výzkumu, způsoby sběru, zpracování a analýzy dat, která jsou následně prezentována. Záměrem této práce je propojení základních teoretických informací o diagnóze, se zkušenostmi a znalostmi skutečných lidí, pro které je řešení problémů dospělých osob s Aspergerovým syndromem každodenním úkolem.

Abstract:

The main goal of this graduation thesis is to assess the needs and possibilities of adults with Asperger's syndrome (AS) and their families, in connection with the possibility of their employment within the labour market and ensuring their greater independence. Understanding these needs can help identify the types of services for adults with AS that are lacking and need to be addressed. The first part of the thesis generally summarizes the possibilities of supporting the employment of people with disabilities, further describing Asperger's syndrome, its discovery, basic symptoms and reasons for its occurrence. It also broadly defines the space for social work with the particular target group and presents statistics available that are related to this issue. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the research, focused on identifying specific needs, insurmountable limitations, but also the abilities and possibilities of clients with Asperger's syndrome. It also describes the theoretical basis of the research, methods of data collection, processing and analysis, which are then presented. This thesis aims to interconnect the basic theoretical information about the diagnosis with the experience and knowledge of real people, for whom coping with the problems of adults with Asperger's syndrome is an everyday task.
