Diplomová práce je zaměřena na využití a průzkum geotermálního potenciálu v okrese Chomutov. Vlastní šetření proběhlo v oblasti severní části Mostecké pánve. Tato oblast náleží z pohledu využití geotermálního potenciálu k nejnadějnějším úsekům ČR , který je charakteristický svým vysokým tepelným tokem. This thesis is focused on the exploration and utilization of geothermal potential in Chomutov. The actual survey took place in the northern part of the Most pans. This area is in terms of utilization of the geothermal potential of the most promising sections of the Czech Republic, and it is characterized by its high heat flux.
