Consumer behaviour in mobile phone market

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá chováním spotřebitele na trhu s mobilními telefony. Hlavním cílem práce je identifikovat klíčové faktory ovlivňující chování spotřebitelů dosahujících věku 16 let a více na trhu s mobilními telefony v České republice a na základě získaných výsledků následně navrhnout marketingová doporučení pro podnikatelské subjekty působící na trhu s mobilními telefony na území České republiky. Literární rešerše se zaobírá primárně spotřebitelským chováním a pojmy s tím souvisejícími. Analytická část se ve své první části na základě sekundárních dat věnuje nastínění světového a českého trhu mobilních telefonů. V druhé části kapitoly dochází za pomoci dotazníkového šetření a hloubkových rozhovorů ke sběru primárních dat, která přinášejí podrobnější informace týkající se spotřebitelského chování na uvedeném trhu. Prostřednictvím faktorové analýzy dojde k vytvoření sedmi faktorů majících na spotřebitele vliv při výběru nového mobilního telefonu. Nabyté poznatky následně poslouží k návrhům marketingových doporučení pro podnikatelské subjekty na trhu s mobilními telefony v České republice.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with mapping the behaviour of consumers in the mobile phone market. The main goal of this thesis is to identify key factors influencing and affecting behaviour of consumers over 16 years of age in the mobile phone market in the Czech Republic and based on these results it recommends a marketing strategy for business entities operating in the Czech Republic area. The literary research entails primarily consumer behaviour and terms associated with it. The analytical part focuses in its first section on the description of the world, as well as the Czech mobile phone market based on the research. The second section focuses on more detailed information about consumer behaviour in the given market based on the questionnaire research. Through factor analysis the seven factors of a consumer are created, which affect the selection of a new mobile phone. The gained information will be used for creating marketing strategies for business entities in the mobile phone market in the Czech Republic.
