Development of the heat pump control board

Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na vývoj a tvorbu řídicí desky, pro regulaci splitového tepelného čerpadla vzduch-voda, postavené na mikrokontroléru ESP32-S3. Součástí práce je návrh a realizace vlastního plošného spoje. V teoretické části je popsána základní teorie ostatních možností řízení a jednotlivých typů regulátorů spolu s vysvětlení základního principu fungování tepelného čerpadla. Dále je představen použitý hardware a popis použité technologie. Praktická část práce se skládá z elektrotechnických schémat plošného spoje, fyzického návrhu plošného spoje pro výrobu a dílčích částí kódu. Práce implementuje i další vlastní vyvinutý hardware (3D tisknutelná krabička pro montáž na DIN lištu). V poslední řadě jsou součástí práce nasbíraná data z testovacího provozu.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the development and creation of a control board for the control of a split air-to-water heat pump, based on the ESP32-S3 microcontroller. In the theoretical part, the basic theory of the other control options and the different types of controllers is described, together with an explanation of the basic principle of operation of the heat pump. Furthermore, the hardware used and a description of the technology used is presented. The practical part of the thesis consists of the electrical schematics of the PCB, the physical design of the PCB for manufacturing and the code components. The thesis also implements other self-developed hardware (3D printable box for DIN rail mounting). Lastly, the work includes data collected from test runs.
