Goodmana parafrázuje úhly pohledu na realismus v umění u těchto dvou rozdílně vymezených osobností estetiky. The thesis Realism in art: Analysis of the term realism in studies by E. H. Gombrich and N. Goodman paraphrases points of view of realism in art by these two different personalities of aesthetics.
