Abstract:
Open dumping is a primary method of managing Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) in Cambodia. Due to the increasing MSW, the number of closed dumpsites gradually increases. The first and largest dumpsite in Phnom Penh was closed, and the subsequent one is nearly full, yet the country still needs to strive to rehabilitate or restore the environmental impact of its operation.
