Comparison of CRM systems available in the hotel industry

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnovaná porovnání CRM systemu využitelných v hotelech. Aktuálnost tématu práce je vysvětlena tím, že v posledních letech se odvětví cestovního ruchu a hotelnictví výrazně změnilo pod vlivem zavádění nových informačních technologii. Zvýšení efektivity řízení služeb vyžaduje vytvoření komplexu specifické činnosti zaměřené na zlepšení efektivity managementu, z nichž jedním je zavedení CRM systému. Vzhledem k tomu, že táto práce se zabývá komparací CRM systému využitelných v hotelech, cílem tohoto výzkumu je objektivní hodnocení, porovnání a výběr nejoptimálnějšího CRM systému pro vybraný podnik, a to pro běloruský tříhvězdičkový hotel „X“, který proběhne v rámci vícekriteriální analýzy prostřednictvím rozboru funkcí CRM systémů, krátkého přehledu obchodních procesů, rozboru jednotlivých modulů struktury CRM systémů, jejich ekonomických efektů, uvedení výhod a nevýhod při implementaci CRM systému do hotelu „X“ a také detailního rozpracování návrhu na jeho zavedení. Struktura výzkumu obsahuje úvod, teoretickou, analytickou, návrhovou části, závěr a seznam použité literatury. Metodologický základ výzkumu tvoří způsoby a formy vědeckého poznání, přijaté v domácí vědě: systematický přístup, metody srovnávací analýzy a syntézy, metody abstraktně logického hodnocení, metody detailizace, seskupování a zobecnění, odborné hodnocení a další. Vícekriteriální analýza se stává hlavní metodou pro provedení analytických kroků v této práci pro hodnocení a výběr CRM systému pro vybavení hotelu „X“.

Abstract:

The current topic is explained by the fact that tourism and the hotel industry have changed significantly in recent years under the influence of the introduction of new information technologies. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate and select a CRM system for integration within the multi-criteria analysis in order to ensure the growth of efficiency and socio-economic importance of the hotel. The subject of the research is economic relations arising from the process of evaluation and selection of the CRM system. The purpose of the research is to provide CRM systems on the market. Research structure contains an introduction, three chapters, conclusion and bibliography. The theoretical part of this work contains general information about hotel operation and specific hotel processes. In the beginning, the hotel accommodation categorization and organizational structure of the hotel were described, with a description of reservation and service services, staffing, process and demand management analysis, marketing functions and sales. In addition, information systems for hotel operations were presented. They are divided into hotel, managerial, reservation, CRM and individual information systems. Their main functions are the collection, transfer, storage, processing and distribution of information. The essence of CRM systems, their functions and ways of use was devoted to a separate chapter, where also were described some selected software programs of this type. The methodological basis of the research consists of methods and forms of scientific knowledge adopted in domestic science: systematic approach, methods of comparative analysis and synthesis, methods of abstract logical evaluation, methods of detail, grouping and generalization, professional evaluation and others. Multi-criteria analysis becomes the main method for analytical steps in this work to evaluate and select a CRM system for the hotel X's.
