Cieľom diplomovej práce je charakterizovať finančné zdroje špecifické pre malé a stredné podniky, klasifikáciu, členenie úverových zdrojov financovania a ich začlenenie do sústavy všetkých zdrojov financovania (externých a interných zdrojov).
