Faktorization of matrices

Abstract:

Cílém mé práce bylo v první části srovnání a přiblížení různých metod rozkladů matic na součin horních a dolních trojúhelníkových matic a to jak pro obecné, tak pro různé speciální matice. V další části se zabývám Householderovými maticemi, s jejichž pomocí jsou převáděny matice na třídiagonální tvar a jsou přitom zachovány původní vlastní čísla matic. Nakonec s pomocí Householderových matic ukazuji, jak je možné matici rozložit na součin ortogonální a horní trojúhelníkové matice. Užití metod je v každé části ilustrováno na příkladech.

Abstract:

The aim of my work in first section was comparison and explanation of various methods of matrices factorization to product of upper and lower triangular matrices and that is for general matrices either as for various special matrices. In second section I deal with Householder matrices, throught them are matrices transformed to tridiagonal form and in doing so their eigenvalues are still the same. In the end I show how is possible to factorize matrix throught Householder matrices to the product of orthogonal and upper triangular matrix. Methods uses are illustrated on examples in every section.
