Fluctuation of employees in a company

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Fluktuace zaměstnanců ve vybraném podniku“ je identifikace příčin způsobujících fluktuaci zaměstnanců v konkrétním podniku se zaměřením na analýzu podnikové kultury a přístupu vedoucích pracovníků k motivaci zaměstnanců. Za tímto účelem je teoretická část rozdělená do tří celků. První část je věnována samotnému pojmu fluktuace, jejím příčinám, dopadům, způsobům měření a současné situaci fluktuace v České republice. Druhá kapitola se zabývá motivací v souvislosti s motivačními teoriemi a motivačními nástroji. Kapitola třetí je zaměřena na firemní kulturu, její vysvětlení, typologii a představení toho, jak by úspěšná firemní kultura měla vypadat. Praktická část pak představuje vybraný podnik společně se sektorovou analýzou trhu, na kterém působí. Zbylá část je věnována samotnému výzkumu, zvolené metodologii, interpretaci výsledků se závěrečnou diskuzí a zejména doporučením vedoucímu ke snížení fluktuace.

Abstract:

The subject of the diploma thesis „Fluctuation of employees in a company“ is to identify causes of employee fluctuations in a company with focuse on the analysis of corporate culture and the approach of managers to employee motivation. For this purpose, the theoretical part is devided into three parts. The first part is concentrated on the concept of fluctuation, its causes, impacts, ways of measuring and the current situation of fluctuations in the Czech Republic. The second chapter deals with motivation in the context of theories of motivation and motivational tools. The third chapter is focused on corporate culture, its explanation, typology and presentation of how a successful corporate culture should look like. The practical part presents the selected company together with the sectoral analysis of the market that the company operates in. The remaining part is devoted to the research itself, the chosen methodology, interpretation of the results with a final discussion and especially the recommendations leading to a reduction in employee fluctuation.
