Abstract:
Control of the vital functions of photoperiodically sensitive organisms depends on the correct synergism of the circadian and photoperiodic clocks. The relationship between these two timekeeping systems was studied in photoperiodically sensitive larvae of the fruitfly, Chymomyza costata.
