The Stress Factors of Work in a Low-Threshold Institution for the Roma Children and Youth from the Animators' Perspective

Abstract:

Název diplomové práce „Zátěžové faktory práce v nízkoprahovém zařízení pro romské děti a mládež pohledem animátorů“ dobře vystihuje co je jejím obsahem. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány základní pojmy a východiska, na které autor navazuje praktickou částí. Teoretická část obsahuje kapitoly věnované problematice sociálního vyloučení romského etnika z majoritní společnosti, popisu systému prevence sociálně patologických jevů, poslání nízkoprahových zařízení pro děti a mládež a rovněž i vymezení metody animace a osobnosti animátora. Je zde popsána i jedna nezisková organizace v níž bylo realizováno výzkumné šetření. V praktické části se prostřednictvím kvalitativní výzkumné strategie autor pokouší odpovědět na výzkumnou otázku. Prostřednictvím ohniskových skupin složených z animátorů si klade za cíl zjistit jaké problémy provázejí animátory v jejich působení při práci s romskými dětmi a mládeží ve vybraném nízkoprahovém zařízení. Výzkumné šetření je realizováno podle koncepce zakotvené teorie. V závěru jsou výsledky výzkumného šetření interpretovány. Součástí závěrečné interpretace je nástin doporučení, který směřuje k usnadnění práce animátorů.

Abstract:

Diploma theses „The Stress Factors of Work in a Low-Threshold Institution for the Roma Children and Youth from the Animators’ Perspective“ describes well what is its subject. In the theoretical part there are described basic ideas and data on which author is connecting with practical part. The theoretical part content chapters dedicated to problem of social exclusion of Roma ethnic from majority society, description method prevention of social pathological phenomenon, function low-threshold facilities for children and youth, and also determination methods of animation and personality of animator. In my diploma theses I also describe one specific low-threshold facility in which I realized my research. In the practical part is author trying to answered research question through qualitative research strategy. By means of focus groups compact of animators my diploma theses is focusing to find out what type of problems animators have to deal with in their work with Romanies children and youth in specific low-threshold facility. Research is realized according to conception of the Grounded Theory. In the end of my diploma theses I explicated outcomes of the research. The part of the ending interpretation is outlined recommendation, which is headed to simplify animators work.
