Implementation of drama education elements into pedagogy teaching

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce teoreticko-aplikačního charakteru pojednává o realizaci aktivního vyučování se zapojením prvků dramatické výchovy do výuky předmětu Pedagogika na střední pedagogické škole. Metodologicky vychází ze zúčastněného pozorování, jehož hlavním pilířem je realizace hodin pedagogiky ve dvou ročnících Pedagogického lycea střední školy. Cílem tedy bylo navrhnout možnosti řešení aktivního vyučování se zapojením prvků dramatické výchovy ve výuce Pedagogiky. V teoretické části je vysvětleno aktivní vyučování a možnosti jeho použití v kurikulárních dokumentech. Dále jsou zde popsány prvky dramatické výchovy a možnosti a bariéry jejího využití v jiných předmětech na střední škole. Vlastní aplikační část obsahuje podrobný popis všech kroků realizace. Výzkumná část je zaměřena na evaluaci proběhlých hodin, která je následně vyhodnocována a jsou navrhnuty aktivity vhodné pro použití ve výuce.

Abstract:

This master thesis of theoretically-applied character is focused on the realization of active teaching with the implementation of elements of drama education into the teaching of the subject of Pedagogy at secondary school of education. Methodically it is based on participatory observation, which took the form of realization of pedagogy classes with two years of students from secondary school’s Pedagogy lyceum. The aim was to propose possibilities of implementation of active teaching with the engagement of elements of drama education in the teaching of Pedagogy. The theoretical part is devoted to the explanation of the term, active teaching, and its implementation into curriculum documents. Furthermore, it focuses on elements of drama education, its possibilities, and its possible problems during its use in different subjects at the secondary school level. Part pertaining to the application is comprised of detailed descriptions of each step of realization. The research part is focused on the evaluation of taught classes, which are assessed and activities that would be suitable for use during the teaching process.
