Interaction between the product core and the place of memory in destination of tourism

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřená na oblast trvalé udržitelnosti turismu, primárně pak na její sociokulturní pilíř a téma požadované shody identity destinace a identity rezidentů. Pomocí rešerší dosavadního poznání tématu deduktivním postupem vytváří model interakce jádra produktu a místa paměti, takto nejmenších detekovatelných jednotek identity destinace a identity rezidentů a postup možného výzkumu shody identity destinace a identity rezidentů. Možné použití postupu a funkčnost modelu pak ověřuje v destinaci Toulava, pomocí sémiotické analýzy a obsahové analýzy médií (identita destinace) a skupinových rozhovorů (skupinová identita rezidentů), zastřešených metodou sekvenční datové triangulace. Klíčové pro srovnání získaných dat bylo využití teorie atraktivit turismu jako základního znakového systému destinace a kódování dat právě podle atraktivit. Model se v destinaci ukázal být funkční a realizace výzkumu přinesla odpovědi na všechny stanovené výzkumné otázky. Ukázal ideovou shodu identity destinace a identity rezidentů, jediný rozpor byl v chápání teritoria jako identifikačního prvku.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the topic of sustainability of tourism, primarily on its socio-cultural pillar and the topic of accordance of destination identity and the identity of residents. By exploring existing scientific knowledge and using deductive process, it creates a model of interaction between the product core and the place of memory, the smallest detectable units of the identity of destination and the identity of residents. Procedure for researching of accordance of identity of destination and the identity of residents was designed. The possible use of the procedure and the functionality of the model is then verified in Toulava with semiotic analysis and content analysis of the media (destination identity) and group interviews (group identity of residents), framed by sequential data triangulation. The key to comparing the data obtained was the use of the attractiveness theory of tourism as the basic sign system of the destination and the coding of the data by attractivities. The model has proven to be functional in the destination and research has provided answers to all the research questions. It showed the ideological conformity of the identity of destination and the identity of residents; the only contradiction was the understanding of the territory as an identifying element.
