Bilingual family: Children Language Acquisition.

Abstract:

This thesis discusses some of the most discussed topics of bilingual upbringing and language acquisition of bilingual children. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses topics such as bilingualism itself, aspect of bilingualism, types of children bilingualism, bilingual family and bilingual upbringing and education. The main aim of the practical part is to determine whether the bilingual rising is beneficial and useful for children or not. Moreover, it examines the prejudices of bilingual upbringing and tries to set the records straight.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o některých z nejvíce diskutovanějších témat bilingvní výchovy a nabývání jazyka bilingvních dětí. Teoretická část této práce se týká takových témat, jako je bilingvismus, aspekty bilingvismu, typy dětského bilingvismu, bilingvní rodina a bilingvní výchova a vzdělání. Hlavním cílem praktické části je určit zdali bilingvní výchova je pro dítě prospěšná a užitečná či nikoli. Dále zkoumá předsudky a snaží se je uvést na pravou míru.
